1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes, such as viewing our menus, hours, specials, and events, making a reservation, inquiring about private dining, purchasing gift cards, applying for a job, or subscribing to our newsletter. You agree not to:
• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems.
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to collect data from the Site without our written permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site’s operation or other users’ experience.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any form on the Site.
3. Menus, Pricing, Specials, and Hours
We work to keep the information on the Site accurate, but menus, prices, daily specials, happy hour offerings, event details, and hours of operation may change without notice and may differ from what is posted online. Menu items and ingredients are subject to availability. Photographs are for illustration only. Specials and promotions (including wine specials and happy hour offers) may be limited by day, time, or location within the restaurant (for example, bar, patio, or dining room), cannot be combined with other offers unless stated, and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
Food allergies and dietary needs. Our kitchen handles common allergens, and we cannot guarantee that any item is free of allergens or cross-contact. Please tell your server about any allergy or dietary restriction before ordering. Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
4. Alcohol
Alcoholic beverages are served only to guests who are 21 years of age or older with valid identification, in accordance with Ohio law. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated or cannot verify their age. Nothing on the Site is intended to encourage underage or irresponsible drinking.
5. Reservations
Reservations may be made through our Site, which may connect you to a third-party reservation provider such as OpenTable, or by phone at (440) 268-8322. Reservations are subject to availability and our seating policies. We may hold a table for a limited time after the reserved time, and we may release it if your party has not arrived. Please contact us as early as possible if your plans change. Your use of any third-party reservation service is also governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
6. Private Dining and Events
Private dining and event bookings (for groups of up to 75 guests, subject to room and availability) may require a separate event agreement, a deposit, a guaranteed guest count, and a minimum spend. Where an event agreement conflicts with these Terms, the event agreement controls for that booking. Deposit, cancellation, and refund terms will be provided at the time of booking.
7. Gift Cards
Gift cards are sold through our third-party gift card provider and are governed by the terms provided at purchase. Unless otherwise stated at purchase or required by law, gift cards are redeemable only at Square 22, are not redeemable for cash except where required by law, and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Please protect your gift card as you would cash.
8. Newsletter and Communications
If you subscribe to our email newsletter, you agree to receive periodic emails about news, specials, and events. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email or by contacting us. We will handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Employment Inquiries
Information you submit through our Jobs page is provided voluntarily for employment consideration. Submitting an application does not create an employment relationship or guarantee an interview or offer. Square 22 is an equal opportunity employer. Employment with us is at-will unless a written agreement states otherwise.
10. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, including the Square 22 name, logo, text, graphics, photographs, menus, and design, are owned by or licensed to Square 22 and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written consent. Third-party names, logos, and badges (such as OpenTable awards) belong to their respective owners.
11. Submissions and Social Media
If you send us comments, feedback, photos, or other content through the Site, email, or by tagging us on social media (for example, #UNDERTHE22), you grant Square 22 a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with promoting our business, unless you tell us otherwise in writing. You confirm that you own or have the right to share the content and that it does not violate anyone else’s rights or any law.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services, including reservation platforms, gift card providers, and social media networks. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that its content is accurate or complete.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Square 22 and its owners, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
